DRIP

A Woman's daydreams turn into nightmares, as she is chased by an ominous blood-like substance that perverts everything in it's path. "Drip" explores the terrifying nature of depression and trauma, and how horrifying it can be when coping mechanisms fall apart. 

​

Ricardo co-produced, shot & edited "Drip". Premiered at Academy Award qualifying LA Short Fest July 2023.

A lonely man falls in love with a unicorn piñata.

​

Ricardo wrote, produced and directed Bill & Penny. 

Premiered at the Dublin Smartphone Film Festival in June 2023 as part of the second year Global Film Challenge.

FOREVER ALLIE

​

After the sudden loss of her girlfriend, a young woman discovers a gift that allows her to watch their love story unfold. 

​

Ricardo directed, edited and produced Forever Allie. It went on to play at over 10 film festivals around the world, winning best LGBTQ at the LA Film Festival and Tagore International Film Festival. It was also awarded as short of the month for the Indie Short Fest. 

​

URINE THE DESERT

​

A man stranded in the desert has to resort to worst case scenario measures of survival. 

​

Ricardo made this micro film for the 2022 Dublin Smartphone Festival as part of their first Global Challenge, where 10 filmmakers from around the world made a film under a theme. 

It was also accepted in Peru's Ojo Movil Fest.

A grieving woman speaks her mind during her father's funeral. 

​

Ricardo co-produced, directed and edited Little Staph Infection. The main actress won the best actress award at the Tagore International Film Festival and received high remarks from the Transparent Film Festival.

A young woman enjoys her newfound freedom.

​

Ricardo shot Ciao Isabella while traveling in Italy in 2017. The beautiful city of Rome serves as a backdrop to this visual film. It was awarded the Best Drama Microfilm winner at the Austin Micro Film Festival in 2022.

FLASHING

A successful photographer choses work over family. 

​

Ricardo's first short film back in 2013. Ricardo wrote the idea on a napkin at a bar in 2011. Along with his partner, he developed it until it became Flashing. It was accepted to various festivals and has over 8K views on Vimeo.
